Andrew has been on the Board since October 0f 2017. He has a background in political campaign work. Currently he works full time at Hardings Supermarket in Three Rivers and has embraced taking leadership of our business recruitment initiatives. He currently serves as our Board Chair effective October of 2018. Andrew is a downtown resident and in his spare time enjoys playing music and dedicates much of his town to political activism.
John “Charlie” Wolgamood has been on the board since 2017. Charlie is a resident of Three Rivers, is employed at Twin County Probation Center, and is an owner of a building downtown. Educationally, he is a graduate of Three Rivers schools, has a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Michigan State University, and is working on a Masters degree in education (behavior disorders) from Walden University. Charlie has four grown children and one grown cat. He enjoys kayaking, fishing, gardening, and live music.
Rick graduated from Mendon High School and went on to obtain a journalism degree from the University of Michigan. Rick was also a teacher and principal with the Colon and Leonidas schools. Thereafter he became a journalist with the Three Rivers Commercial-News. He is married to Laurel and they have 6 children and 13 grandchildren. Rick is now retired and serving on a number of civic and health care entities. Water sports are fun for him, raking leaves not so much.
Tim has been a Board member since November 2016. He and his wife Rachel have three young kids and have lived downtown since 2013. Tim has lived in Three Rivers since 2003, moving here just after starting to serve this City as a minister in late 2002. The ministry has gone under some big changes but the focus and priority still remains to help revitalize the City’s downtown. In addition to renovating a building downtown he and his wife also plan to open Speaking Stone Cafe.
Colin has been on the Board since October of 2018. He and his family own and operate the historic Riviera Theatre and he is also a downtown resident. He is a graphic designer and a member of the Artists Guild.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling, photography, cooking and the great outdoors.
Joe Bippus has been on the board since 2000. He is employed by the City of Three Rivers as its manager. He has a Bachelors of Criminal Justice degree from Ferris State University and a Masters in Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He is married to Cheryl and they have three great kids. In his spare time Joe likes to engage in outdoor activities including mountain biking.
Jason has been a Three Rivers resident since 2018 after relocating from Chicago. He has been a member of the DDA’s Design Committee since 2019, and has been a board member since 2022. Jason was instrumental in landscaping the East Alley and creating the Pollinator Garden in the Mural Mall. Jason holds a M.S. in Environmental Management & Sustainability from IIT and is a Master Gardener through MSU. He utilizes his gardening skills to plant native plants and natural landscapes. Jason enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and tending to his chickens.
Angela is a Three Rivers high school graduate and received an Associates of Applied Science in Business from GOCC. She is a business owner of Reflections Hair Studio located on S.Main St, which is located in the Historic district. Angela became a DDA board member in November 2022. Angela enjoys traveling, road trips on her motorcycle, spending time with family and she is excited about being involved with the Downtown community and helping out with its events.
Mary has always loved being involved on committees and boards and has served on many throughout her adult life. She is an associate Broker for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services and is a Michigan Realtor. Mary loves Three Rivers and enjoys being a part of making where you live a better place!
